Walk for Phil
To be staged on “Super Saturday, March 11, 2017”, Walk For Phil encourages the generosity of the nation’s third biggest industry; to reach beyond it’s own participants, fans and supporters to embrace the general community to aid three of Phil Sly’s favourite charities.
Phil Sly was a larger than life character, thoroughly built around his passion for all of racing, from the punt, to ownership to camaraderie, but a man who valued life and giving to others.
Phil lost a staunch and rallying fight against “The Grub” of cancer in 2016 but not before inspiring others who were in sufferance along with many more who could make a difference and rally behind him and the cause.
And that is the idea behind Walk For Phil, something that he passionately drove before his passing, with a view to help his dear to heart Pancare, along with other life changing charities, Pinchapoo and Very Special Kids.
This walk is to honour not just his life, one fully spent, but to work towards providing life-changing differences for others.
Walk For Phil is a 27km walk from Caulfield Racecourse to Moonee Valley Racecourse and finishing up the straight at Flemington Racecourse .
Registration is $50 including a Walk For Phil shirt and breakfast .Walk starts at 5am sharp and concludes at 11:30am.
Move for Mental Health
The inaugural Tour de Tig was held in 2014 and raised just over $25,000. In 2017, we are pleased to present Tour de Tig 2 (TDT2) which will see our founder Mitch, along with six of his good mates, run from Burnie to Hobart from the 21 – 25 March.
The aim of this event is to not only take on the huge physical challenge of running 360km on foot, but to create conversation around the state about the mental health issues that so many of us face. Stay ChatTY’s message is to break down the stigma that surrounds mental health issues by telling as many people along the way that it is OK TO NOT BE OK.
Good physical health can reduce stress and help you manage symptoms of mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. #TeamChatTY decided to give YOU the opportunity to be part of TDT2. #GetMovingInMarch encourages individuals to identify their own fitness goal to work towards whilst raising money for Stay ChatTY.

The Sunshine Coast Pri
Every year in Australia there are thousands of newborn babies that need the help of specialised nursery care to support them with their battle for life.
Tara’s son Lincoln was born 7 weeks earlier than his due date. He needed around the clock monitoring of his heart rate and oxygen levels, so he was transferred to The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital. Lincoln was placed in a specialised incubator unit and required nasal cannulas that allowed him to breathe assisted.
Thanks to the support of people like you, Lincoln was able to go home 4 weeks later.
Unlike other private hospitals, The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation. This means that that your generous gifts are invested directly into making our services better for our patients.
This year The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital Maternity Ward celebrates 30 years of providing Specialised Nursery Care and helping deliver babies into the Sunshine Coast community.
Can you help us celebrate and continue our vital work in supporting mothers like Tara through premature pregnancy? By donating before 30 June, you’ll help other despaired parents bring their babies home sooner.
Giving is easy. Simply click the 'donate now' button on the right had side of this page. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be emailed to you.
Thank you so much for your support.
